My first review of an item for this website is the XBOX 360 Play and Charge Kit (Black). I realized rather quickly that with the amount of time I am going to devote to playing my Xbox 360 Elite and the cheap AA batteries I buy aren't going to cut it. I also saw no point in buying expensive batteries that will last longer, as I'm just going to throw them out when they are dead. I did some research and found out about the Play and Charge Kit, read some reviews on Amazon, and bought two of them. I found that the entire setup is very easy to use. Immediately I was surprised at how well the rechargeable battery held its charge. I've been playing well over 6 hours without needing to reconnect the cable. Also, when the cable is connected it is as if the controller is a normal wired controller without any noticeable difference. There is no hindrance to my playing ability when the cable is connected, charging the battery. I will report later on to see how well the battery life lasts after multiple chargings, but for right now, I'm a very satisfied customer of the XBOX 360 Play and Charge Kit (Black).
